Let’s make Father’s day – Sunday the 6th of September, special for families in need.
We are asking for non-perishable goods to be collected by all of our Lions Clubs in our District. From everything collected we will have a working bee to put the hampers together and in partnership with one of our expert community groups in the Dandenong area we will organise distribution.
Maybe you could contact business stores and places in your area. Perhaps each Club member could just collect something from home and put it together from the Club.
Start collecting items such as:- cans of soup, bottles of jam, vegemite, sugar, salt, pepper, can of vegetables, soft drinks, pasta, packet meals, cans of fruit, chocolates, oil, etc.….
Act fast, as we need the donations by Sunday the 30th of August 2015.
