John Bishop and Basil Theofanides travelled to Seaford last week to meet up with John (Bear) Willis who has renovated and old HT Holden wagon for this year’s Children’s Variety Bash. John is trying to raise around $ 7,000.00 for this year’s bash which if all goes well, kicks off 11 August, from Melbourne and ends at Great Keppel Island on 20 August.
To help John achieve his goal, our club donated $ 500.00 which has earned us sponsorship name on his car. Immediate Past President Basil handed John two Lions decals as part of the signage.
We look forward to seeing the finished car which is also sponsored by FUSION.
No doubt we will be getting updates once John has left Melbourne.
